I'm sure those of you who are even casual Sportscenter watchers have seen, or at least heard about, their new "Morning Blog Buzz" feature. If you haven't, then you can read more about it (and watch a clip from this morning's Sportscenter) here on Deadspin.
The gist of it is, ESPN scours the blog universe and finds the most common talked about topics from the most popular blogs. Now, as much as I would love to see this blog fail and get run into the ground, I think it would be pretty sweet to see something that was written on BWP actually quoted on Sportscenter.
Of course we get about 60 unique views a day, so at this point we don't have a snowballs chance in hell of even being read by anyone besides our family and friends let alone actually being quoted on Sportscenter.
I guess the point of this post is to pose this question to the other posters on BWP and the random 50 or so people that read this blog daily: What do you think we could do/what do you want to see on BWP that could increase readership and establish us as a unique blog?
I think we already have some great ideas with Great State Hate Debate, Best Spring Break, and O's/Ravens updates, but any new opinions are open for consideration. We here at BWP are men of the people. We are here to please.
My goal isn't specifically for us to get onto Sportscenter (because we all know this "Morning Blog Buzz" experiment probably won't last long) but I think it would be really beneficial if all of us posters here at BWP stepped our game up and really made a push to get a stronger readership.
To whom it may concern: This will be my last serious post ever.
